The Religious Right...so wrong.

Currently in class talking about the Christian Right. It makes my stomach hurt. It also makes me do things on line like write in my LJ, rather than listening. V. bad. Just made snotty comment concerning Ross Perot -- that may be the whole of my contributions to class today. V. bad for participation grade.

Must strive to be better student and not go to Wal-Mart v. late at night for boca burgers, eyeliner, etc. rather than reading for seminar paper, ARTH presentation, POLS final paper, etc.

In other news, set of smoke alarm while making lunch today. Forray into cooking v. unsuccessful. Grilled cheese still v. nice and not burned. Strange smoke detector, v. sensitive and recognizes pre-smoke.

Going on field trip today, exciting and mysterious end to relay for life meeting. Also Ubben lecture later tonight. Wal-Mart effect. Hopefully shower this AM has washed off Wal-Mart residue from last night and will hence not be stoned by angry anti-capitalists. Could become v. close to said group as have tremendous dislike for Wal-mart, but fake popcorn/corn puffs keep me coming back.

class break.

woot.

Feminism is always easier after Valentine's Day

Upon reflection have noted that feminism on DePauw's campus spikes in the Valentine's season. V. aware that own commitment has suffered severely from single flower bouquet. V. lovely not to be bitter feminist...but happy and flower-enjoying feminist. V. sorry about un-friendly things done in the name of anti-feminism (e.g. powerplays, Martian distancing, etc.) Must e-mail thesis, as have not done it and today is deadline. (not looking forward to this).

Tomorrow, must go and introduce thesis and research to new convenor...Doooooooooooom.

I choose Vodka, and Elton John (revised)

Have decidedly embarked on new phase of life. After hideous night of soul-searching and Elton John, it is a new day. V. good outlook on life, v. positive on self, v.v. self-sufficient.

Long time listener, first time caller

I'm not quite sure how to use this newfangled technology -- Just doing my best.

Got done w/ the WGRE schedule today. That's right. V. high powered celebrity in manner of Katie Courick or Emma Watson.

Have not cleaned room. Mounds and spikes of junk sticking up in every direction. Possibility for injury: high. Probability of cleaning in near future: low (v. bad).

Workout tomorrow a.m. at 6:30 w/ Dad. Dooooooooom.
